Make homemade condensed milk in a blender in just 5 minutes. Perfect for desserts and drinks, this quick and easy is a must-try for any from scratch cook.
Heat the milk in a small saucepan or in the microwave. Make sure it's not boiling. Using hot milk helps the ingredients dissolve more easily and creates a smoother texture.
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender. Make sure the blender has a vent or opening to allow steam to vent. I don't recommend using a Nutri Bullet type of blender.
3/4 cup whole milk, 1 tbsp butter, 1 1/2 cups milk powder, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Blend on high for 1-2 minutes until all ingredients are well combined. Scrape down the sides if needed and blend again.
Add the blended condensed milk to a lidded jar and store it in the fridge until fully cooled for about 1-2 hours or until you're ready to use it. The mixture will set further as it cools down.
