Blender Evaporated Milk (5 Min.)
Make this easy and cost-effective homemade blender evaporated milk in just 5 minutes using only 2 ingredients. This unsweetened condensed milk recipe yields the equivalent of a 12 fl oz (354 ml) can, offering a perfect homemade substitute without any stabilizers, flavorings, or thickening agents. It’s perfect for baked pies, creamy sauces, or as a homemade coffee creamer.

Once I started making condensed milk at home in the blender, evaporated milk was naturally next on the list of homemade pantry staples I wanted to try and make myself.
Technically this recipe is not evaporated but concentrated milk. Evaporated milk is basically regular milk that with about 60% of its water removed via a lengthy slow cooking process, creating a thicker and richer liquid.
You can shorten this process by combining concentrated powdered milk with milk. To create a more caramel-like flavor, simply toast the milk powder in a pan for 2-3 minutes for the sugars to start to caramelize before blending it with the milk.
