Dukkah is a traditional Egyptian blend of nuts, seeds, and spices, usually enjoyed as a savory seasoning. Its name comes from the Arabic word dakka, meaning “to pound,” which describes how it’s made. The ingredients are roasted until fragrant, then crushed with a mortar and pestle or food processor into a coarse, crunchy mixture. This sweet take
