Creme egg hot choc, the perfect Easter drink

My son Lars and I chatted about making hot chocolate with leftover Easter chocs and he suggested we try making one with a Cadbury creme egg. Here’s why we both LOVED it:

Perfect for leftover chocolate: A great way to use up any chocolate treats after way past Easter.

Quick and easy: 2 ingredients and 5 minutes. A delicious and simple Easter activity for the kids.

Versatile: Experiment with your favorite Easter or Christmas treats to create a delicious twist on my cacao hot chocolate and my chocolate chip hot chocolate.

Notes

Use whole milk for a rich and creamy hot chocolate base.
Stir continuously while melting the creme egg to ensure it fully incorporates into the milk.
For extra indulgence, top your hot chocolate with whipped cream and a drizzle of melted chocolate.
Storage: It’s best to make this hot chocolate fresh but yes, you can reheat it on low heat on the stove or in the microwave.
