- Mayonnaise: Store-bought or homemade plain mayonnaise including lighter versions work well. Try my homemade mayonnaise recipe.
- Dill: Freshly chopped dill works best but you can also use dried dill. Alternatively, you can use other fresh herbs such as fresh parsley, green onions, or chives.
- Lemon: Zest and juice add extra freshness.
- Seasoning: Sea salt and black pepper.
Variations

- In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise. Add. chopped fresh dill, salt, and freshly cracked pepper. Stir to combine.

Ingredients
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp fresh dill finely chopped
- 2 tbsp lemon juice juice of one large lemon
- 1 tsp lemon zest zest of one large lemon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- To prep dill, wash, dry, separate the leaves from stems, and finely chop them.1 tbsp fresh dill
- In a small bowl, combine chopped dill, mayonnaise, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined.1 cup mayonnaise, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp lemon zest, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/8 tsp ground black pepper
