Ingredients and substitutions
See the recipe card for full information on ingredients and quantities.
- Rosé wine – You can choose a variety of Rosé styles for this recipe, including sparkling Rosé, champagne or prosecco for some extra bubbles, low or no-alcohol Rosé for a mocktail version.
- Lemonade – Lemonade adds carbonation and more citrus flavor to this refreshing wine spritzer. You can use tonic water instead.
- Sugar – Granulated sugar works best to create a sugar rim on the glass.
- Lemon – Lemon or lime gives this Rosé drink a refreshing, zesty flavor that complements the acidity in the wine.

Recipe tips
Frosé: Simply freeze the tonic water in ice cube trays and blend it up with the ice cubes and Rosé wine into a thick slushy consistency.
Rosé punch: For a crowd-pleasing option, make a big batch of rosé punch or sangria. Add other seasonal fruits like strawberries, watermelon, or peaches for extra flavor.
Let the rim set: After rimming your glass with sugar, let it sit for a minute or two to allow the sugar to adhere firmly.
Adjust sweetness: If you’d like a sweeter rosé lemonade, add a little simple syrup or Rosé syrup to taste.
